Abstract
The present study was undertaken tcl investigate the effects of vinylacetate content on the properties of EVA. Their thermal and mechanical properties were investigated by DSC, Instron and RMS, respectively. Their surface properties were measured with contact anglometer. The glass transition temperature was not changed with vinylalacetate content. Maximum crystallization rate temperature was decreased, and the polar surface energy was increased with increasing of vinylacetate content. In the case of VA 31%, 80% recrystallization time at 10℃ was 400min. There are no appreciable change of the compressive strength of the VA 15% and 31%, but elongation of the VA 15% was 9% and that of the VA 31% was 5%.

본 연구에서는 비닐아세테이트 함량에 따른 EVA의 물성변화를 조사하였다. 이때 DSC를 사용하여 열적성질을 조사하였고, 기계적성질은 Instron과 RMS를 사용하여 측정하였으며. 접촉각 측정기를 이용하여 표면에너지를 측정하였다. 비닐아세테이트 함량이 증가함에 따라서 유리전이 온도는 일정하였고, 결정생성속도가 가장 빠른 온도는 낮아졌으며. 극성표면에너지는 증가하였다. EVA-31의 경우 10℃에서 재결정하면 80%재결정시간은 약 400min 정도였다. 복합화약으로 압축성형된 EVA-15와 -31 사이에 압축강도의 차이는 없었으며, EVA-15의 연신율은 9%였으나 -31의 연신율은 5%였다.
