The transesterification reaction of dibasic esters(mixtures of dimethyl succinate, dimethyl adipate, and dimethyl glutarate) and dimethyl terephthalate with 1,4-butanediol was investigated in the temperature range from 190 to 210 ℃ without and with metal catalysts. The extent of reaction was followed by the measurement of output of methanol which was distilled from the reactor. The effect of reactants, catalysts, molar ratios, and temperature dependence on the transesterification reaction were also studied.
Dimethyl succinate, dimethyl adipate, dimethyl glutarate의 혼합물인 지방족 이염기산에 스테르와 dimethyl terephthalate를 1,4-butanediol과 온도범위 190-210 ℃에서 무촉매 또는 촉매 존재 하에서 에스테르 교환반응시켰다. 반응도는 에스테르 교환반응시 반응기에서 계외로 유출되는 메탄올의 함량을 시간별로 무게를 측정한 후 이를 이론 유출량과의 비로 계산하였다. 또한 에스테르 교환반응에 대하여 반응물 형태, 촉매 종류, 몰비, 그리고 온도의존성 등을 살펴보았다.
