Abstract
Enegetic poly(glycidyl nitrate) (PGN) prepolymer was investigated with the reaction calorimeter (RC-1, Mettler) by activated monomer (AM) polymerization. AM polymerization method has been excuted with precisely controlled feed of glycidyl nitrate(GN) to reaction calorimeter (2L) In the presence of complex state catalyst generated by BF3·O(C2H5)2 and 1,4-butanediol(BD) in CH2Cl2. The heat of reaction (ΔHr) for monomer GN and prepolymer PGN were identified 604kal/mol and 615kcal/mol on mixture solution, respectively. The use of these parameters may lead to an improved and "safer" preparation of the reaction on a pilot plant scale.

에너지 함유 예비 중합체 poly(glycidyl nitrate) (PGN) 제조를 열량측정계 (reaction calorimeter, RC-1, Mettler)를 이용하여 활성화 모노머 (activated monomer; AM) 중합 방법으로 연구하였다. 예비 중합체 PGN 제조는 2L 열량측정계 내에서 CH2C12 용매에 축합촉매인 BF3·O(C2H5)2와 1,4-butanediol 하에 단량체인 glycidyl nitrate (GN)을 일정한 속도로 투입하는 AM 방법으로 중합 반응을 시행하였다. 단량체 GN과 예비 중합체 PGN 제조시의 혼합용액내에서 반응열 (ΔHr)을 측정한 결과 각각 615 kcal/mol, 604 kcal/mol이었다. 이와 같은 반응 파라미터들은 pilot plant 규모에서의 안전한 반응조건 설정 및 반응조건 개선에 유용하게 사용될 것이다.
