Abstract
A polysulfoneamide based on anthraquinone was prepared for improving solubilities in organic solvents while it maintains its thermal stability. Trimethylsilyl chloride was used for enhancing the reactivity of the diamine monomer containing anthraquinone unit. From the X-ray diffractogram of the polysulfoneamide showed that it is almost amorphous structure in contrast with an aromatic polyamide. As 1% weight loss temperature of the polysulfoneamide was obserbed around 354℃ by TGA, its thermal stability is as high as expected comparing with conventional aromatic polyamides.

본 연구에서는 폴리아미드의 열적 안정성과 더불어 유기용제에 대한 용해성을 향상시키기 위해 주쇄에 안트라퀴논 단위를 포함하는 폴리술폰아미드를 제조하였다. 안트라퀴논 단위를 포함하는 디아민 단량체의 반응성을 향상시키기 위해 트리메틸실릴클로리즈가 사용되었다. 제조된 폴리술폰아미드는 방향족 폴리아미드와는 달리 거의 무정형에 가까운 X-선 회절 결과를 나타내었으며, TGA를 통해 열적 특성을 검토한 결과, 1% 중량감소 온도가 354℃로 일반적인 방향족 폴리아미드에 비해 열적 안정성이 우수함을 알 수 있었다.
