The RSA (Response Surface Analysis) was used to simulate some properties of PVC-carbon black composite with Ti coupling agent. It was found that the electrical resistivity of the composite increased and the glass transition temperature of the composite decreased as the amount of coupling agent increased. A maximum tensile strength of the composite was detected at 0.5 phr coupling agent content. Rapid decreases in the dielectric constant and in the dielectric loss of the composite were observed between 10
4Hz and 10
5Hz. Therefore, the results confirmed us that the RSA is thought to be reasonabe to simulate some properties of composite systems.
