Abstract
Photocrosslinkable poly(phenymaleimide)s were prepared by radical copolymerization of phenymaleimide(PM) and cinnamoyloxymethylmaleimide(COMMI) with small amounts of COMMI to PM in different solvents. PM-COMMI system showed a solvent effect in the copolymerizations for the yields and the COMMI contents of the polymers. The intrinsic viscosities were in the range of 0.07 to 0.10. The polymers exhibited relatively high thermal stability as the initial decomposition temperatures were about 400 ℃. The photocrosslinking reaction of the polymers could be traced by residual and UV methods.

몇가지 용매중에서 페닐말레이미드를 소량의 신나모일옥시메틸말레이미드와 라디칼공중합하여 광경화성 페닐말레이미드 공분자를 합성하였다. 이 공중합계는 수율과 공중합체의 조성에 대해 용매효과를 나타내었다. 공중합체의 고유점도는 0.07-0.10의 범위였으며, 그 초기 분해온도는 400 ℃정도로서 비교적 높은 열안정성을 나타내었다. 공중합체의 광경화 반응은 잔막수율 및 자외선 분광법으로 측정될 수 있었다.
