Polyesteramide(PEA) elastomer, whose soft segment was poly(butylene adipate) and whose hard segment was polyamide with some aromaticity, was partially miscible with poly(butylene terephthalate) (PET). The crystallization of PET was enhanced when small quantity of PEA elastomer was blended with PET. In PET/Nylon 6 blends, the PEA elastomer was preferentially dissolved into Nylon 6 phase, and the compatibility between PET phase and Nylon 6 phase was improved by the addition of PEA elastomer.
