Abstract
Siloxane-epoxy copolymers having terminal epoxy group were prepared by reacting aminopropyl group terminated polydimethylsiloxane prepolymer having various molecular weights with N,N,N',N'-tetraglycidyl-α,α'-bis(4-aminophenyl)-p-diisopropylbenzene(HPT 1071), and characterized using IR and NMR. Curing samples of siloxane-epoxy copolymer were prepared by mixing the copolymer with 2.5, 5, 10% by weight of 4,4'-diaminophenyl-p-diisopropylbenzene(HPT 1061) as curing agent and triphenylphosphine as Inuring accelerator. Peak temperature and activation energy on curing were determined by measuring dynamic DSC thermogram to the samples were increased with decreasing the different heating rats. The curing activation energy and peak temperature to the samples were increased with decreasing the concentration of curing agent in the sample, and also increased with increasing the content of siloxane block unit in the copolymer.

폴리디메틸실옥산(PDMS)의 양말단에 반응성이 우수한 아미노프로필기가 도입된 각종 분자량의 PDMS프리폴리머를 합성하고 이들을 사관능성 에폭시 수지인 EPON HPT 1071 수지와 공중합시켜 EPON HPT 1071 수지의 양말단에 부분적으로 실옥산 단위가 도입된 실옥산 변성 에폭시 수지를 제조한 다음 이들을 분석하였다. 공중합체에 경화제로 EPON HPT 1061을 2.5, 5, 10 중량%로, 그리고 경화 촉진제로 트리페닐포스핀 소량을 가하여 제조한 시료에 대해 승온 속도를 달리하여 얻은 동적 DSC 열분석 결과로부터 경화열과 활성화에너지를 구하였으며 이 값으로부터 경화제의 농도가 감소함에 따라 경화온도에서의 활성화에너지는 증가하였고 공중합체 내에서의 실옥산 함량이 증가할수록 경화온도 및 활성화에너지는 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다.
